What Is the ADISU Puglia Scholarship 2026/2027?
The ADISU Puglia scholarship 2026/2027 — officially the "Bando 'Benefici e Servizi'" — is the main financial aid package available to students enrolled at public universities and AFAM institutions across the Puglia region. ADISU Puglia (Agenzia per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario di Puglia), established under Legge Regionale n. 18/2007, administers these benefits with funding from the regional study tax, transfers from Regione Puglia, the national Fondo Integrativo Statale, and a dedicated PR Puglia FESR-FSE+ 2021-2027 intervention co-financed by the European Union.

Medicine, Dentistry & Veterinary Students
Students enrolling in A.A. 2026/2027 to Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Prosthodontics, or Veterinary Medicine at a Puglia university — including those completing the "semestre filtro" under D.Lgs. n. 71/2025 — apply within the ordinary deadlines (Art. 24). Students who complete the semestre filtro at a Puglia ateneo and then immatricolate there follow the standard first-year procedure; those who did the semestre filtro elsewhere and transfer into Puglia apply separately, in a dedicated window opening 2 February 2027.

ADISU Puglia Scholarship 2026/2027 Amounts: How Much Can You Get?
The ADISU Puglia scholarship amount depends on your housing status (in sede, pendolare, or fuori sede) and your ISEE bracket. Winners who use ADISU housing or meal services have the corresponding value ("trattenuta") deducted from their cash payout — the benefit isn't lost, it's simply delivered in kind.

Scholarship winners (or idonei non beneficiari) who graduate within the legal course duration with a final vote of at least 105/110 receive a graduation bonus equal to 50% of the last scholarship amount received — calculated net of increments but gross of service trattenute. Applications open via the online portal until 31 May 2028; the final ranking is published by 31 July 2028.
In Sede, Pendolare, or Fuori Sede?
Your housing classification determines your ADISU Puglia scholarship bracket. The gap between "in sede" and "fuori sede" is over €4,280 per year at the base rate — getting this right, and documenting it properly, is critical.

info Documentation Matters — the Rental Contract
Fuori sede students not assigned an ADISU posto letto must submit a registered rental contract, covering at least 10 months within the academic year, via the dedicated online procedure: between 1–20 November 2026 (laurea/magistrale/ciclo unico students) or 1 January – 28 February 2027 (PhD/specialization students). Miss the deadline without uploading the contract, and you are reclassified as "pendolare," losing the fuori sede rate.
Students assigned a posto letto in an ADISU residence are automatically classified fuori sede, with the housing quota (€2,208.00/year, per the equivalent trattenuta logic) deducted from the cash payout since the room is provided free of charge.
ISEE Requirements for ADISU Puglia 2026/2027
To qualify for the ADISU Puglia scholarship, your family's ISEE for university benefits must not exceed €26,000.00, and your ISPE (patrimony indicator) must not exceed €56,000.00. Only an attestazione ISEE explicitly marked "si applica alle prestazioni agevolate per il diritto allo studio universitario" is valid — a generic ISEE is not accepted and causes exclusion.

For first-year students, ranking within the ISEE limit is the sole criterion for scholarship assignment — ties are broken first by voto di maturità (laurea triennale) or voto di laurea (laurea magistrale), then by age (younger prevails).

The Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica (DSU) must be filed with a CAF or via INPS well before your application deadline — ADISU acquires your ISEE data directly from the INPS database. Students whose families are not resident in Italy and produce no Italian income must instead declare foreign income and patrimony (Art. 10), supported by documentation from an authority competent for their country of residence, translated into Italian and legalized/apostilled, submitted both online and in original (in person or by registered mail) by the application deadline.
Academic Credit Requirements
First-Year Students
If you're a matricola (first-year), your ranking at award stage is based purely on ISEE/economic condition — no credits are required upfront. But credits determine whether you keep the scholarship and how much:

Note: disabled students (L.104/92 or ≥66% invalidity) must reach only 12 CFU by 10 August 2027 for the full amount, or 12 CFU by 30 November 2027 for 50%. Communication of the achieved requirement must be made by 28 February 2028, pena decadenza.
Upper-Year Students
Students enrolled in years 2+ must already hold the minimum CFU required by "Tabella A" of the bando's appendix by 10 August 2026 — thresholds rise progressively by course type and year (e.g. laurea triennale: 25 CFU for year 2, 80 for year 3, 135 for the ulteriore semestre; laurea magistrale a ciclo unico 6-year courses go up to 300 CFU for the ulteriore semestre). A "bonus" credit system lets you bridge small gaps once per academic career: 5 CFU for year 2, 12 for year 3, and 15 from year 4 onward — but the bonus cannot be used for first-year requirements, and is not included in the merit-score formula.

For upper-year students, the merit coefficient is: (MVO × CC) / reference year credits (60 for year 2, 120 for year 3, 180 for year 4, 240 for year 5, 300 for year 6), where MVO is the average exam grade (excluding idoneità, 30 e lode counted as 30) and CC is total credits acquired. The result is truncated to two decimal places.

Posti letto are split 75% to upper-year students (proportionally to idonei per course/year) and 25% to first-year students, with disabled students and their accompanists prioritized in reserved rooms. Bari holds a 5-post reserve for high-level student-athletes (CUS Bari) and additional reserved posts across Bari, Foggia and Lecce for UNICORE scholarship recipients. Assignment requires a €130 deposit and a medical fitness certificate within 5 days of being convoked — miss it, and you're reclassified as pendolare.

No, preventive enrollment isn't required to submit the application — this explicitly includes students awaiting immatricolazione to Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine and semestre filtro students. Enrollment must simply be completed within the deadlines set by your university, and first-year students must confirm it via the portal by 30 April 2027.
Can I apply if I'm transferring from another Italian university? expand_more
Yes. Art. 11 of the bando governs course passages, Ateneo transfers, and re-enrollments — your convenzionale year of enrollment, and whether previously convalidated credits count toward merit, depend on the specific scenario (six are defined in the bando). You can also request to transfer your scholarship application between ADISU Puglia sedi, or to/from another region's diritto allo studio Ente, within set deadlines.
Is the ADISU Puglia scholarship compatible with other scholarships? expand_more
No — receiving benefits in cash and/or services for the same academic year from another public or private body is an explicit cause of exclusion or revocation (Art. 4). Students in a PhD programme already funded by a ministerial or institutional scholarship also cannot apply for the ADISU scholarship for that course.

First-year winners need 20 CFU by 10 August 2027 for the full amount. Reaching 20 CFU only by 30 November 2027 reduces the cash payout to 50%. Failing to reach 20 CFU by 30 November 2027, or failing to communicate the achievement by 28 February 2028, results in loss of the requisito di merito and revocation of the benefit for the current academic year.
Can I do the semestre filtro outside Puglia and still get the ADISU Puglia scholarship? expand_more
Yes — students who complete the semestre filtro in another region and then enroll at a Puglia ateneo ("Nuovi Richiedenti") can apply via a dedicated window from 2 February 2027, 8:00 to 13 March 2027, 12:00. You'll need a valid ISEE and proof of completed enrollment at the Puglia university, and you'll be placed in a Graduatoria Separata distinct from the ordinary ranking, so existing awardees' positions aren't affected.
