The seats are divided into two applicant groups: Quota A (Italian citizens, EU citizens, and non-EU citizens with EU equivalent status) and Quota B (Non-EU citizens with residency abroad).

CEnT-S Entrance Test for Pharmacy in Italy
Admission to the Pharmacy programme is based on the CEnT-S test, which is organized and administered by CISIA. The ranking lists will be based on the normalized score obtained in the CEnT-S test.
Scoring & Eligibility
A minimum normalized score of 5 in the CEnT-S test is required for admission to the two ordinary intakes. Failure to meet the threshold will result in exclusion from the intake.
Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie (ex aequo) in the ranking, priority will be given to the youngest candidate.
Academic Requirements & OFA

- 5-year upper secondary school diploma.
- A qualification obtained abroad after 12 years of schooling.

Applicants must own a certificate proving English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)
Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) will be assigned to the successful candidates who score below 15 in the CEnTS test. To fulfil the OFA, candidates must pass a specific multiple-choice test on Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math before the end of the exam session of the Academic Year of enrolment (31st of March 2028). Students who fail to meet the Additional Learning Requirements in their 1st year will not be allowed to take exams of the following years.
Ranking System & Retrieval Procedure
For each intake, there will be a separate ranking list for each quota. In the ordinary intakes, candidates may be classified as:

If you are ELIGIBLE, you can declare your interest in being considered for retrieval. You must explicitly declare your interest in being considered for retrieval on the Studenti Online portal. Once you have declared your interest, this choice is irrevocable and cannot be modified.
Step-by-Step Application Process
Create a Studenti Online Account
If you do not have a SPID digital identity, register on Studenti Online: select the "Register" button, enter your data and the system will create your firstname.lastname@studio.unibo.it credentials.
Take the CEnT-S Test
Registration for the CEnT-S test which requires a participation fee must be completed on the official website, www.cisiaonline.it.
Submit the Application
On Studenti Online, click on the "ADMISSION APPLICATION" section, select "Single cycle degree programmes", and choose the selection titled "Pharmacy". Upload online:
- Copy of a valid (non-expired) identity document.
- A certification attesting the achievement of the required English language level (minimum B2).
- (Only for non-EU citizens with EU equivalent status, for whom it is mandatory) a valid Residence Permit.
Pay the Application Fee
Proceed with the payment of the €20.00 contribution. The registration is considered complete and valid only after the payment has been made.
Additional Information for Non-EU Citizens with Residency Abroad
Submit a pre-enrolment application to the competent Italian diplomatic representation to apply for a visa via www.universitaly.it.
