LOCOMOTIVE Content Guidelines

Last updated: 23 Oct 2025 · Applies to website, Telegram, and connected service

TL;DR (read this first)

  • Keep it respectful. Zero tolerance for hate, harassment, or doxxing.
  • Protect IMAT integrity: no leaks, no illegal sharing of paid/copyrighted materials.
  • Credit your sources; label AI-assisted notes/solutions.
  • No spam or self-promo outside allowed spaces; disclose ads/affiliates.
  • Report issues → we review → you can appeal.

1) Scope

These standards apply to all LOCOMOTIVE Group spaces: our website (thisislocomotive.com), Telegram channels/chats, Discord/DMs, podcasts, comments, email newsletters, and any official community events.

2) Prohibited Content

  • Hate/Harassment: No discrimination, slurs, bullying, threats, or targeted harassment based on protected characteristics.
  • Illegal/Harmful: No promotion of violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or malware/piracy.
  • Inappropriate: No sexually explicit or obscene content; keep it professional and educational.
  • Doxxing: No sharing personal data (addresses, phone, private accounts, documents) without explicit consent.

3) IMAT Integrity (Exam Safety)

  • No leaks or embargoed content. Do not request, post, or trade unreleased exam material or “recall dumps” that breach test rules.
  • No unauthorized sharing of paid materials: This includes publisher books, paid past papers, or course PDFs.
  • Accuracy: Cite credible references (official guidelines, journals) when making academic/medical claims.

4) Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • Respect copyright. Share only what you own or have rights to share.
  • Use of LOCOMOTIVE materials: Provided for personal study only. No redistribution, resale, or public posting without written permission.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC) license: By posting in our spaces, you grant LOCOMOTIVE a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and adapt your UGC for community purposes (with attribution where reasonable). You retain ownership.

5) AI & Originality

  • Label AI assistance: If your notes/solutions were AI-assisted, state “AI-assisted” and review for correctness.
  • No plagiarism: Summarize in your own words and cite sources. We may use plagiarism detection.

6) User Conduct

  • Respectful communication: Debate ideas, not people. Keep language civil. No brigading other groups.
  • Language: English preferred; Italian and Polish welcome. Keep posts clear and on-topic.
  • Accessibility: Avoid low-quality screenshots; prefer text or accessible formats.

7) Spam, Promotions & Ads

  • No spam: No repetitive messages, mass tagging, or irrelevant links.
  • Self-promotion: Allowed only in designated threads/spaces when explicitly permitted by admins.
  • Disclosure: Sponsored posts and affiliate links must be clearly labeled (e.g., “Ad” or “Affiliate”).

8) Privacy, Minors & GDPR
