This blog is designed to help students easily analyze data from previous International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT) exams (2020–2024). It does not aim to recommend specific universities or predict future threshold scores. Our goal is to present a clear comparison of past data to support students in making informed decisions.
Total Number of IMAT candidates
The number of candidates for the International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT) from 2020 to 2024 has not been officially announced by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). However, based on available data and reports from students and test centers, the approximate number of students who attended the exam each year is as follows:
- IMAT 2020: ~12,000 candidates
- IMAT 2021: ~11,500 candidates
- IMAT2022: ~11,000 candidates
- IMAT 2023: ~10,000 candidates
- IMAT 2024: ~11,000 candidates
These figures are estimates and should be treated as unofficial, as they are derived from unofficial sources and discussions among students, rather than verified MIUR publications.
